Diabetes Prevention Program in Spanish
Starts soon!
The Diabetes Prevention Program is a nationally proven program that can not only help you lose weight, but also prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes for people at risk. This one-year program is for people with prediabetes, are insulin resistant, or are at high risk for type 2 diabetes. Please share the linked flyer with your Spanish -speaking clients or colleagues who work with them. The first session is intended to be the evening of Tuesday, September 26, 6:30pm-7:30pm. Please call Carmen McKibben if you have further questions at 360-216-9347.
Sponsored by Children's Home Society of Washington, this support group for lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer or questioning youth has recurring meetings available in Battle Ground, Vancouver, and Washougal. Groups are fun, free, drop-in, and filled with resources like peer support and skill building. Free mental health counseling for Triple Point youth is also available as needed.
